From Lorah's point of view...
Robinswood hill has been a special place for us over the last 3 years. We have spent many special occasions and many sunny afternoons climbing right to the top and enjoying the spectacular view! We have even hidden a little R2D2 McDonalds toy somewhere, and it has been there all this time :)
So one day Sam wants to go, but it happens to be on a day when I was recovering from a nasty cold and I just wanted to go to the hospital because my arm was feeling very strange and I was scared I was having some kind of stroke! (I don't think I was being dramatic :P)
But Sam insisted we still go to the top, he didn't seem to get the hints about me not feeling well etc. So I just went with it... I just wanted to make him happy and he seemed very determined to get to the top!
We finally got to the top! We went to our little spot and found our little toy - yep, it was still there! :)
So we found a little spot that was sheltered by the wind and unpacked our little 'man picnic' (this is what I what I call some Tesco sandwiches in a backpack :P) that Sam had for us and enjoyed some yummy food!
Shortly after (whilst still trying to finish my coca cola!) Sam said he had a present for me! But I could only have it if I answered a question first... I was excited but I had no idea what the present was!
So he pulled something out the bag and kept it behind his back whilst he told me all sorts of lovely things, this is when I started to suspect what the present might me! But I didn't get my hopes up..
After his beautiful declaration of love (the kind that makes you feel all mushy inside!) He said the words I was hoping to hear! He pulled out the little box with the most beautiful, sparkly, perfect ring ever!
I suddenly realised that I had no idea how to respond to such a question! I was just so happy and excited, Sam had to remind me that I did have to answer him with a yes or a no!
I thought that was a silly question, of course I was going to say yes!! And I did in the end...
The Next Day...
The next day I had a big champagne celebration with my little sister and one of my bestest friends, who both had been with me on a journey over the last year leading to this moment. Thank you Nicky and Jordy for everything! I hope you're both ready to help me plan the most awesomest wedding everr!
